KCC has a strategic approach to local missions. Presently, we have adopted three local agencies that are doing a great work in the 757. With our partnerships, we engage in hands-on service projects to assist these organizations. Projects include but are not limited to the following:
- Throwing massive baby showers for parents at the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
- Sending volunteer teams to assist in disaster relief efforts and meal packaging through Operation Blessing.
- Providing warm food and shelter on our church property the week of Christmas for our friends who are homeless through PIN Ministry.
We also support these three local missions financially through KCC's tithes and offerings. Every three years, our missions team prays and evaluates what other local agencies we may choose to adopt or keep for the following three years. We also have ministries created and supported through KCC volunteers that cooperate with these local organizations and do other work as well in the community on an ongoing basis.
